Carmichael brings over 9 years of cybersecurity experience at Sally Beauty, where he’s risen from Information Security Engineer to his current role leading enterprise architecture in security. His journey highlights dedication, growth, and deep technical expertise across threat management, enterprise security, and leadership in fast-paced environments.

Outside of corporate life, Carmichael plays a pivotal role in the local cybersecurity community as the Lead Organizer of DC940, fostering grassroots hacker culture and education in North Texas.

From securing enterprise environments to building communities, Carmichael's multifaceted experience makes him the perfect speaker to close out our semester strong!

Dr. Agarwal brings a wealth of industry experience, having worked across multiple domains including vulnerability management, threat detection, and security operations. At Nokia, she works on AI/ML Security Research and 5G security—helping protect infrastructure on a national scale. In addition, her role as an Adjunct Professor at GWU allows her to mentor the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

We're thrilled to announce that Rajib "Jeebs" Bhattacharjee, M.S. will be joining us for an exclusive session to talk about his role and responsibilities as a Senior Strategic Advisor II at Flashpoint, about ransomware, threat actors, and more for our Closing Event for the semester!

Throughout his time at Flashpoint, Jeebs has focused on cyber extortion incident response, including ransomware. Jeebs has led or participated in some of the most high-profile global ransomware events that Flashpoint has supported in the past two years. Holding a master's degree in Global Security Studies from Angelo State University, Jeebs previously led the custom-designed training to include cyber extortion awareness training and executive decision tabletop exercises. Most recently, Jeebs completed the Marine Corps University Red Team course and his professional experience includes 16 years in Law Enforcement, Executive Protection, and Red Teaming.
